Staff Settings
The Staff Settings in Availabu allow you to manage staff members across multiple locations. You can add, customize, and organize staff schedules, special days, and holidays to fit your business needs.
Adding New Staff
To add new staff members:
- Click the Add Staff button.
- Fill out the required information across four tabs in the opening window:
1. Details
- Enter the staff’s name, email, phone number, and profile picture.
- The profile picture and name will be visible to customers during the booking process.
- Select the staff’s location(s). Use the multi-select option if they work at multiple locations.
- Include a short note about the staff member for internal reference (not visible to customers).
2. Weekly Schedule
- By default, staff working hours follow the general settings.
- To customize a staff member’s schedule, enable the “Configure Specific Timesheet” checkbox.
- Customize:
- Working days: Set start and end times for each day.
- Day-off: Mark non-working days for the staff member.
- Breaks: Add one or more breaks by specifying start and end times.
3. Special Days
- Create unique schedules for specific days:
- Add non-standard working hours for special days.
- Adjust working times for specific occasions (e.g., partial working days).
- Add breaks for these special days.
- To delete special days, click the Remove Special Day button.
4. Holidays
- Assign holidays specific to the staff member.
- Click the calendar to select non-working days.
- These holidays will override the general business holidays set in Settings > Holidays.
Managing Staff
Once staff are added, you can:
- Search by name, email, or phone number.
- Sort staff by name, email, or phone number (ASC or DESC).
- Edit staff details by clicking the Edit button.
- Delete Staff:
- Individually: Click the three-dot menu and select Delete.
- In bulk: Select multiple staff using checkboxes and click the Delete icon.
