Payment Settings

The Payment Settings in Availabu allow you to customize how your business handles transactions, from currency formats to payment methods and customer payment preferences. These settings ensure a smooth and flexible payment experience for both you and your customers.

Currency

  • Currency: Select the currency your business uses for transactions.
  • Default value: USD ($).
  • Currency Symbol: Choose or customize the currency symbol to display alongside prices, regardless of the currency selected.
  • Currency Format: Define how prices appear. Available formats include:
  • $100
  • $ 100
  • 100$
  • 100 $
  • Default value: $100.

Price Number Format

  • Number Format: Specify how prices are displayed. Options include:
  • 45 000.00
  • 45,000.00
  • 45 000,00
  • 45.000,00
  • Default value: 45 000.00.
  • Number of Decimals: Choose the number of decimal places for rounding prices.
  • Default value: 100.00 (2 decimals).

Payment Timing

  • How Long to Wait for Payment: Define the timeframe for customers to complete their payment after booking. During this period, the chosen timeslot is reserved. If payment is not completed within the set timeframe, the timeslot becomes available again.

Customer Payment Options

  • Customers Can Pay the Full Amount: Enable customers to pay the full service fee, even when a deposit option is available.
  • Deposit Payments: Allow customers to book services by paying only the deposit fee, with the full amount optionally payable later.

Booking Status Based on Payment Outcomes

  • Successful and Failed Payment Booking Status: Set the automatic appointment status based on whether a payment is successful or unsuccessful after the system waits for the customer.

Tax Visibility

  • Hide “Price Does Not Include Taxes”: Enable this option to display a note on the services and extras steps indicating whether taxes are included in the price.

Payment Methods

  • Enable or disable specific payment methods for customer bookings. When enabled, you must create applications for the selected gateways. Available payment methods include:
  • Stripe: Create Application
  • PayPal: Create Application
  • Square: Create Application
  • Sandbox Mode: Use Sandbox Mode for testing payment integrations before switching to Live Mode for real transactions.
  • Currency Compatibility: Ensure that the payment methods support the currency selected in Settings > Payment Settings > General.

Gift Card Payments

  • Allow customers to book appointments using their gift card balance. Gift cards can be used to pay either the full service amount or just the deposit.

Local Payment Option

  • This offline payment method allows customers to book without making an online payment. Ideal for businesses that accept payments in person.

By tailoring your Payment Settings, you can provide a seamless and professional experience for your customers, ensuring flexibility and reliability in every transaction.
