Holiday Booking Settings
Holidays are a crucial aspect of managing your business’s availability. Certain days during the year may be designated as non-working days, and appointments should not be accepted on those dates. Allowing bookings on days when your business is closed could lead to customer dissatisfaction and operational challenges, such as needing to notify clients of cancellations. The Holidays feature in Availabu ensures this is no longer an issue.
Setting Holidays for the Entire Business
With the Holidays feature, you can block specific dates as non-working days across your entire business. This means:
- All locations, services, and staff will be unavailable for bookings on the designated holiday.
- Customers attempting to book on these dates will see the day as unavailable.
Setting Holidays for Specific Staff Members
If a holiday applies to specific staff members only, Availabu provides the flexibility to handle this. To set holidays for individual staff:
- Go to the staff profile in the admin panel.
- Navigate to the Holidays tab in the menu.
- Specify the date(s) as holidays for the selected staff member.
This ensures that the selected staff member is marked unavailable for bookings on the specified dates without affecting the rest of your team or business.
