Customer Section
The Customer Section in Availabu helps you manage all customer-related information, offering tools to add, edit, search, and organize customer profiles. With features for manual entry, imports, and automated registration, this section streamlines customer data management.
Adding a New Customer
To manually add a new customer:
- Go to the Customers menu.
- Click the Add New button.
- Fill in the required details:
- Name and Surname
- Email and Phone Number
- Profile Picture (optional)
- Gender and Date of Birth
- Click the Save button to add the customer to the list.
Importing and Exporting Customer Data
- Export: You can export customer data to an Excel file for external use or backup.
- Import: Add multiple customers by importing a CSV file. Ensure the file matches the required format for seamless uploading.
Searching and Sorting Customers
- Use the search toolbar to find customers by:
- Name
- Surname
- Phone Number
- Sort the customer list by any column in ascending (ASC) or descending (DESC) order for easier navigation.
Allowing Customers to Manage Their Appointments
Enable the Allow to Login feature to create a login for your customers:
- This automatically generates a WordPress user profile for the customer.
- Customers can manage their own appointments via the Customer Panel.
Editing or Deleting Customers
- Edit: To update customer information, click the Edit button next to the customer’s name.
- Delete:
- To delete a single customer, click the three-dot menu and select Delete.
- To delete multiple customers, select the checkboxes next to their names and click the delete button at the bottom.
Automated Customer Registration
When a customer books an appointment for the first time:
- A customer profile is automatically created.
- A password is generated and sent to the customer via email notification.
- This process happens only once; subsequent appointments will not resend password details for security reasons.
Key Notes:
- Ensure the Customer Panel is enabled on the front-end to allow customers to manage their profiles and appointments.
- Customer passwords are encrypted and cannot be retrieved after creation.
